The Pharmaceutical Monitoring Section deals with the approval of new labels and packages for medicines in the framework of first batch assessment. Additionally, any change in a preparation requires the Section’s approval before being carried out. At times, changes are also made at the Section’s initiative, on the basis of requests from medical practitioners, professional personnel and the public.
