The Medical Technology Policy Division was established along with the Medical Technology and Infrastructure Administration in 1998, as part of the re-organization process of the Ministry of Health.
The Division is a multidisciplinary unit mainly conducting Health Technology Assessments.
Mission
To establish national policy for safe and effective use of medical technologies, ensuring optimum healthcare for the Israeli population within public funding.
