The department is in charge of the Ministry of Health’s international activities and its publicity.
This activity focuses on initiation and promotion of:
Bilateral relations under the agreements that Israel has with foreign countries on health and medicine matters.
Scheduling visit plans for health ministers and health delegations in Israel and planning of visits abroad for the Minister of Health and health delegations.
Sending participants to international or regional conferences abroad.
Maintenance of working relations and cooperation with the World Health Organization in Geneva and the European branch in Copenhagen. Maintenance of relations with health ministries in various countries (jointly with the Foreign Ministry).
Professional and administrative responsibility for the ministry spokesman. Responsible for planning and execution of the ministry’s information and public relations organizations. Initiates, plans and organizes the oral and written information apartuses. Maintains contact with media representatives.
