The legal adviser is responsible for the legal aspects of the activities of the Ministry of Health, is responsible for providing legal advice to the minister and the ministry administration, initiation and promotion of legislation on matters under the ministry’s responsibility, preparation of regulations and directives issued by the Minister of Health, ongoing consulting for the ministry departments.
The Legal Bureau handles and checks the ministry’s administrative guidelines. Represents the ministry via the attorney general office on all criminal, civil, disciplinary and administrative matters, petitions to the Supreme Court and handling of lawsuits, complaints and accusations against medical professionals.
