Dental technicians can be ranked into four classes: practical, qualified, craftsman, specialist.
A person who wishes to practice as a dental technician in Israel must hold a license from the Ministry of Health.
Government Licensing examinations for Dental technicians are held for the Qualified and Specialist levels only.
A person who wishes to submit an application for a license to practice as a dental technician must meet the following criteria:
- Completion of dental technician studies in a recognized course
- In addition to the above, overseas graduates are required to have an overseas license to practice.
