A person who wishes to practice hypnosis in Israel must hold a license from the Ministry of Health.
A person who wishes to submit an application for a license to practice hypnosis must meet the following criteria:
- A current license to practice medicine, dentistry or psychology.
- A graduation certificate from hypnosis studies (a recognized course given at one of the Israeli universities or at a “recognized institution” a private hypnosis school recognized by the Ministry of Health) or, as an alternative, for overseas graduates, completion of hypnosis studies in a recognized course abroad, a license to practice from abroad and treatment of three patients with hypnosis.
