Awarding Scholarships for Residency in Psychology

Starting from Jan 1st, 2014, the Ministry of Health had implemented the “Formula for Allocation of Scholarships for Residency in Psychology” report, written in December 2011. During those years, the formula was reviewed as decided at the time, and was revised in November 2015.

Below are details of the reports and explanations regarding the allocation of scholarships:

Waiting list for applicants for psychology residency scholarships

Preliminary stage – filling the scholarship eligibility request form and entering the waiting list

In order to grant the interns with a scholarship and according to 2014 criteria, waiting list was established.

Scholarship eligibility request form and entry to the waiting list for all the disciplines (with addition of scanned required certificates) have to be sent back to the fax: 08-6474804.

Receiving the scholarship and entering the waiting list will not be possible without filling the form:

Developmental psychology - scholarship eligibility form and entering the waiting list
Clinical psychology - scholarship eligibility form and entering the waiting list
Medical psychology - scholarship eligibility form and entering the waiting list
Rehabilitation psychology - scholarship eligibility form and entering the waiting list

The Process for Submitting Candidacy for an Interview at a Recognized Institution for Psychology Residency, and the Selection of Residents by the Institutions

In order to find out under which category your name appears in the waiting list – please call the "Health Voice" call center at *5400, and identify yourself by stating your identity card number.

Recognized institutions in psychology in which a resident’s position is becoming available (conversion of specialist’s to resident’s position):
Positions intended for specialists, for which permission has been granted to convert them to positions for psychology residents, due to the fact that the vacancy announcement yielded no candidates.
