A temporary employment permit enables those who studied in Israel, completed all the required coursework for their master’s degree, with the exception of the thesis, and are therefore not yet eligible for the award of the MA degree to begin their internship.
The permit is granted only to those who wish to be employed in one of the units of the Ministry of Health.
The permit will be issued subject to an interview with the Deputy National Psychologist, and submission of the required documents, as follows:
- Photocopy of the ID with the stub (bring the original ID to the meeting, which will be returned to you at the time of identification)
- Photocopy of the BA degree
- Original grade sheets from the BA and MA studies
- University’s certification of completion of coursework (original)
- Certification from the thesis supervisor of the expected time for completing the thesis (and obtaining a grade)
- Certification from the Chief Psychologist at the place of employment regarding acceptance to the internship
- Certification from Human Resources at the place of internship regarding acceptance to the job (including employment start date and scope)
After the interview and review of the above documents, the permit will be sent to the indicated workplace and to the applicant’s private address.
Upon receipt of the permit, you may apply for temporary internship at the Council of Psychologists offices.
The permit is issued for a limited period of up to one year from the date of issue.
